The Season 12 premiere of Real Housewives of Atlanta is almost here, and star Eva Marcille says that the explosive trailer doesn’t even begin to show fans all the drama that went down during filming. Marcille says there’s a lot more fans haven’t seen, and she also revealed that there’s a mystery woman – who Marcille called a “snake” – who shows up and “kicks up so much dust.”
Marcille told Too Fab that the amount of drama this woman creates is “absolutely amazing,” and she knew from the moment she met her that she was “crazy.”
“There’s definitely a snake in the group, and a lot of this season you see us trying to figure out who the snake is,” explained Marcille. “And it’s like so unassuming and kind of catches you off guard. Literally no one expected it. At some point, you’ll find out who it is, but you couldn’t guess it. They just created so much discord between the girls, and different relationships and friendships were severely fractured from this snake.”
Marcille says that the RHOA women spend the majority of the season trying to figure out who the snake is. And, unless the grass is cut low, the snakes won’t show. She added that there are so many people involved, it’s difficult to figure out the mystery.
Marcille also revealed that this season picks up exactly where Season 11 left off, and fans don’t miss a beat. Relationships are the same at the beginning of Season 12, and that means NeNe Leakes starts the season trying to figure out where she stands with many of her co-stars and has to decide if she should make amends.
Marcille is also surprised by the fact that she got along with Kenya Moore, who is back on the show after a one-season break. Marcille says she didn’t have reservations about Moore’s return, but she was warned about what to expect and she was pleasantly surprised by the former Miss USA. She admits they don’t always see eye to eye, but overall she thinks Moore is a “good egg” who is a genuine, nice woman.

Because she was pregnant this season, Marcille says she was sober and couldn’t have a cocktail. And that meant that her RHOA co-stars – as much fun as they are – are absolutely annoying to her.
“And so I found myself laughing and yelling all in the same day,” said Marcille.
