The sequel is set to arrive in the summer of 2018 and the pre-production stages have already been completed.

The new director, JA Bayona, has seemingly confirmed that production has already started on the film.

This is a lot sooner than anyone anticipated so the fans are absolutely delighted that things are moving ahead.

The stars Chris Pratt (Owen) Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire) are set to return as well as BD Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, and Justice Smith.
