The victims were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where they currently remain in stable condition. Simultaneously, Roman-Finnagan was apprehended by law enforcement officers upon their arrival at the scene.

Following the incident, Roman-Finnagan underwent a mental health evaluation at the hospital but has since been discharged and is now in police custody. He is facing multiple charges, notably two counts of armed assault with intent to murder.

Lexington police received a distressing 911 call minutes before 5 p.m. on Friday from the suspect’s mother, who resided with him at the Keeler Farm Way residence. She reported the shooting involving her son and her friend from Haverhill, a 55-year-old woman.

Authorities have revealed that Roman-Finnagan illegally acquired the firearm he used in the attack and kept it concealed in his room. The tragic events have led to charges against him, including possession of a firearm and ammunition, assault and battery, and more.

Roman-Finnagan is slated for a court appearance on Monday, where he will face the consequences of his alleged actions.
