If you haven’t heard of Body Coach Joe Wicks by now, then seriously – where have you been hiding?!
The social media sensation shot to fame after posting a series of short videos no longer than 15 seconds to his Facebook page, showcasing a different healthy recipe each time. Wicks cleverly coined the phrase “Lean in 15″, and a new social media star was born!
From his humble beginnings, Joe has since gone on to become a best-selling author specialising in cookery and fitness books. The former personal trainer’s first published book Lean in 15 – 15 minute meals was a best selling book in 2015!
Now known by his millions of fans and followers worldwide as The Body Coach, Joe has a new objective, and he wants YOU to get involved!
The fitness icon wants to beat the current Guinness World Record for the largest high intensity interval training class – known as “HIIT” by fellow fitness fanatics – which is currently held by the nutrition company, Herbalife. They managed to get 3687 people together in LA on 7th March, and now Joe wants to go even further.
Joe will be holding the event during the evening of Wednesday 5th July at Hyde Park in London as part of the Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Festival, and he wants 4000 of you to participate. There are just a few things to consider before signing up, though:
Tickets for the event can be purchased via www.axs.com and are on sale right now at the great price of £5 (including a £1 booking fee). All of the proceeds are going to the Teenage Cancer Trust, so you’ll be getting lean and helping out a great cause!
Not sure if you can handle a HIIT workout? Then why not try one of Joe’s free HIIT for beginners videos on YouTube?
